About me

Past:

Growing up I always knew I wanted to study biology and work in a field that had an impact on human health. Much of this inspiration came from my dad, a pathologist, who introduced me to the microscope. I have had the privilege of having a supportive family, passionate teachers, and world-class research mentors who guided me throughout my entire life so far.

Present:

I’ve often been asked about why I chose to double major in BioEng & Management, and the reason I’ve given is that while my bioengineering degree will give me a strong technical foundation to stand upon, a management degree will allow me to better understand how to grow and lead effective teams. I supplement my coursework with research in MIT labs and internships with both startups and large, established biotechs.

Future:

One day, I will start my own biotech focused on bringing technologically advanced therapeutics to the public while prioritizing accessibility. The power that life sciences have to transform lives is a waste if only a certain few can access it, so my mission will always be to put people over profits.
