Traveling across the world
From a young age, my parents brought me with them on their international trips, and since then, I have fallen in love with exploring the world. Traveling has deepened my understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures, cuisines, and lifestyles.
My goal is to visit all 7 new wonders of the world before I graduate from my undergrad, and I’ve already hit 5 of them!

Swimming
I have been competitively swimming since I was 6, so needless to say, it is a huge part of my life and something that I enjoy for many reasons. I actually started swimming because my parents wanted me to be safe in the water, but I eventually joined a club team and the rest is history!
I am currently on the Varsity team at MIT where I specialize in 200/400 Individual Medley (the one where you swim all the strokes).
While of course swimming has helped my physical and mental health, it has also built me beyond that. It taught me how to work hard when there’s no visible reward in sight, how to value the small details (like when 1st and 2nd are separated by 0.01 second), and how to stay focused on my own goals regardless of what others are doing.
